Seasons at Boise has created a comfortable lifestyle for seniors who need some assistance with their personal needs. We provide the help needed to live life to the fullest. In fact, many of the things we do actually help our residents maintain more of their independence.

For family members, we offer them the opportunity to take better care of themselves and live their own life again. At the same time, they can still be actively involved in the life and care of their loved one.

Our community is designed to encourage social interaction, along with physical and mental stimulation. Our residents share community areas with one another - the dining room; activity, recreation, TV areas; patios and walkways located throughout our campus. At the same time they receive the individual benefits of their own "Personal Care Plan" and their personal living quarters.

Plus, we always include priceless intangibles that are essential to a fulfilling life: companionship, compassion, respect and human dignity.

A Variety Of Apartments To Choose From

At Seasons, we offer a variety of apartments and suites. They are available on 3 different floors in a number of layouts. If you would like a patio, they are another option. In addition, you can choose to live alone or share your apartment with a roommate.

You Control Services & Costs

At Seasons, we offer a tremendous amount of services to our residents and their family members. You choose what you need and what you would like us to do for you. You also control how much you wish to spend.

Prior to moving in, you sit with our staff and decide what services are absolutely necessary for the care, enjoyment and safety of the senior. Then you decide if you would like to add services that allow us to pamper and spoil the new resident. We then design the care plan you want and put it into action for a month.

After a month, you sit down again with our staff and review how the month went and what services you feel you need add or discontinue. Our residents and their families like having input in this part of the process. They also like the ability to control their costs.

Making A Decision You Can Live With

Caregiving in your home can be difficult and exhausting. It demands time and energy, action and patience, planning and flexibility. It can also bring about tremendous rewards, such as strengthening relationships, sharing love or loyalty, fulfilling a promise, relieving guilt, providing the opportunity to be needed and saving money.

Hopefully, the demands and hard work can continue to be offset by the personal benefits. However, there comes a time for many caregivers when the balance tips the other way. They become physically and/or mentally overworked. The stresses negatively affect their health, attitude, relationships, career and more. Eventually the stresses affect their ability to be a caregiver.

Veterans May Be Eligible For Benefits

We have a large number of veterans in our Seasons communities. Many of these folks who served our country take advantage of the VA program that helps veterans (and their surviving spouses) receive the financial support necessary to ensure their continuing care in assisted living.

Of course, there are eligibility requirements and paperwork. (Ask our staff for the details.) After reserving your apartment, we will guide you through the process of receiving these remarkable benefits. Upon receipt of requested documentation, we can usually determine within one week if you are eligible to receive this pension.

Typically you are able to move in before the benefits begin. (Processing time varies from 2 to 6 months from the date of application.) However, once approved, the pension is paid directly to the applicant via direct deposit and is retroactive from the first day of the month following receipt by the VA.
